89-91 High Street, Invergordon

89-91 High Street in Invergordon is a house dating from around 1870, featuring two storeys and an attic with three wide bays. The building includes a contemporary three-bay shop front with shoulder lintels in the west bay. It is constructed from tooled coursed rubble with polished ashlar dressings.

The central door piece is segmental headed, pedimented, and pilastered, featuring double leaf panelled doors. There is a band and string course between the ground and first floors, and all windows have moulded architraves. The house has two later piended dormers and four-pane glazing.

At the ground floor, channelled ashlar angle pilasters are present, which continue as long and short angle detailing at the first floor. The building also features an eaves band, cornice, and blocking course, along with corniced end stacks and a slate roof.
