Description

New Bridge at Whitebridge was likely designed by Mears and Carus-Wilson between 1930 and 1935. It is a single span bridge made of rubble-faced concrete. The bridge features a wide, shallow segmental arch ring that is tooled and chamfered. The parapet has a roughly tooled rubble coping. The approximate span of the bridge is 70 feet.
