Description
Garthbeg is a house built around 1800, featuring a symmetrical design with two storeys and an attic, comprising three bays. The northwest front has a central door that is sheltered by a projecting square porch with a flat roof, which has modern felting. There are three piended dormers and a single ground floor window on the southwest gable. The windows have 12-pane glazing, and the house has end stacks and a slate roof. At the rear, there is a later single-storey rubble wing that extends from the northeast gable, creating an L-shaped plan. This wing has an off-centre ridge stack and a piended slate roof.
