Description

Quendale Haa is a house built around 1800, featuring two storeys and an attic with a symmetrical three-bay design. There is a later addition to the west gable. The exterior is finished with harled walls and has droved ashlar margins and dressings, along with projecting window sills.

On the south elevation, there is a gabled single-storey porch that projects from the center bay. This porch has a wide window at the front and a six-panel, two-leaf flush-beaded timber door on the west elevation. Symmetrical stone steps flank the porch, and there is an infilled door that has been harled over on the east elevation. The flanking bays feature regular fenestration, and there are windows on the first floor. To the left, there is a ruined single-bay west wing that is slightly advanced, and to the right, a lean-to east wing with a window.

The west gable has a ruined addition that projects at ground level, with windows centered in both the north and south elevations, and a single attic window to the right in the gablehead.

The north (rear) elevation is asymmetrical, featuring two small windows at ground level in the center bay, a blank bay to the left, and a window offset to the right in the bay on the right. The first floor has a blank center bay.

On the east gable, there is a lean-to wing at ground level and a single attic window to the left in the gablehead.

The roof is made of purple slate with a clay tile ridge and ashlar skew copes. The harled apex stacks have stone copes and circular cans.

The property is enclosed by a rubble boundary wall to the south, which includes a droved ashlar gateway with a lintel adjoining the west wing.
