Centre Mill, Southvoe Water Mills, Burn Of Wiltrow, Southvoe

Centre Mill, located at Southvoe Water Mills by the Burn Of Wiltrow in Southvoe, is a group of three horizontal "clack" mills dating from the later 19th century. The mills follow a standard layout of rectangular and gabled buildings that house both upper and lower sections, featuring square openings for water inlets and outlets. The walls are constructed from drystone rubble.

The west mill is roofless, with its upper house converted into a lamb house. A footbridge made from two large irregular slabs is situated next to the west mill. The centre mill is in a ruinous state, with only the partial remains of the north gable and the outlet of the lower house still visible.

The north mill has a slab footbridge leading to the west, next to a sluice gate that feeds a timber lade and a chute to the tirl in the lower house. It features a vertically-boarded timber door in the east gable and has a 'taekket' (straw thatched) roof, which is netted and weighted with linkstanes.
