Description

Oich Bridge, built in 1932 by Mears and Carus-Wilson, is a three-arched concrete bridge that has a slight downhill gradient from west to east. It features three wide pointed-headed arch rings and stepped concrete triangular cutwaters. The concrete parapet has a shallow crenellated detail, and there is a wide splayed approach from the west. The approximate spans of the arches are 48 feet for the eastern arch, 63 feet for the center arch, and 72 feet for the western arch.
