Description
Keeper's Cottage, located at Aberchalder Swing Bridge on the Caledonian Canal, was designed by Thomas Telford and built between 1815 and 1820. This single-storey cottage faces west and consists of three bays. It features whitewashed rubble walls and harled gables. The central door is sheltered by a projecting gabled porch. There is a small gabled single-storey extension set back at the south gable, which has varied glazing. The cottage includes end stacks and has slate roofs. A large dormer is present at the rear.
