Description

Rose Cottage, located on the Ardtornish Estate, was built between 1871 and 1872. It is a single-storey, three-bay cottage constructed from coursed tooled rubble with tooled ashlar dressings. The south front features a central door flanked by windows, while the west gable has a single ground window and a small attic window. The cottage has 4-pane glazing and decorative gable bargeboards, with end stacks and a slate roof. At the rear, there is a single-storey lean-to extension that projects outwards.
