Description

The New Spey Bridge, built in 1931 by engineers Blythe and Blyth, is an elegant single-span concrete bridge. It features a shallow segmental arch ring, which is supported on each side by heavy polygonal buttresses that rise from battered bases. At each end, there are round-headed pedestrian and flood arches. The bridge has a concrete parapet and a plaque at the center. The total span of the bridge is 240 feet (73.2 meters).
