Description
129 High Street in Grantown-On-Spey is a pair of single-storey and attic cottages built around 1800, featuring three bays each. At the rear, there is an irregular three-bay dwelling that forms an L-shape with the cottages. The buildings are constructed from rubble granite with tooled rubble dressings. Each cottage has a central entrance facing the street, with access via a flight of steps that accommodates the sloping site. Each cottage features two small piended dormers, while the rear has a single similar dormer. The windows have two- and four-pane glazing, and there are end and ridge coped stacks. The roofs are covered with slate. The rear entrances are concealed by later harled porches.
