23-27 Gordon Street is a four-storey commercial building dating from around 1830, located at a corner site in Glasgow. The ground floor has been altered, and the building features a plain classical style with five by seven bays, constructed of painted ashlar. It has sash and case windows with plate glass.

On the elevation facing Gordon Street, the central bay is blind. The first-floor windows are framed with architraves and cornices, while the second-floor windows also have architraves and lugged cills. The third floor features a cill band and architraved windows, topped with a cornice blocking course. There is a central wallhead stack.

On the elevation facing Mitchell Street, the second bay from the north is blind below the wallhead stack, and the windows are plain. An axial stack is present as well.
