Description
This building, located at 1-5 Gordon Street in Glasgow, dates from around 1826 and is a four-storey plain classical tenement featuring modern shops on the ground floor. It has a facade that consists of 10 bays across and is constructed of polished ashlar. The main sash and case windows are set within architraves, with lugged detailing on the first and second floors. There is a cornice above the ground floor, and the windows on the first and second floors also have cornices. The building is topped with an eaves cornice and a blocking course, along with reduced wallhead stacks and an axial stack.
