Description

Circa 1874. 2-storey, 9 x 9-bay workshops on V-plan. Red brick with white brick dressings, slate roofs.

FRONTAGE TO RUCHILL STREET: full-height brick pilaster strips divide bays. All openings segmental headed. 1 door 1 bay from E. Fixed light windows with some top openings, some casement, 2 corniced wallhead stacks.

FRONTAGE TO CANAL: as above with 4 wallhead stacks.

REAL ELEVATION: red brick, similarly arched openings. Some later slappings.
