Description

The Nurses' Home at Elder Cottage Hospital, located at 2A Drumoyne Drive in Glasgow, was designed by Sir John James Burnet around 1902. This single-storey hospital block features a harled exterior with half-timber gables and decorative barge boards. The entrance is positioned to the right on a five-bay elevation facing Drumoyne Drive, featuring a tall architrave and a gabled hood that aligns with the main eaves level. The building includes small-paned bipartite windows with top hoppers, and an attic window that overlooks Langlands Road. It has projecting eaves and a slated roof.
