Description
The Portico of Linthouse, located in Elder Park, Glasgow, consists of early 19th century fragments from the Linthouse mansion, which was designed in the style of David Hamilton. These fragments were re-sited in 1921 after the house was demolished. The portico features an Ionic design, with paired curved flights of steps leading up to a segmental-arched tripartite doorway that includes a fanlight. Additionally, there are parts of the flanking walling. The portico is enclosed by an iron fence.
