Description

Ordered 1913, completed 1920; by Sir William Arrol and Co Ltd. 150 ton giant cantilever crane built to serve the North British Diesel Engine Works through sliding roof panels in the engine erecting shop. Lattice

girder tower supporting roller track on which rotates the asymmetrical truss gib with motor room and counter weight at short end.
