Hall, Sherbrooke St Gilbert's Church, 240 Nithsdale Road, Glasgow

The building is a hall that is part of Sherbrooke St Gilbert's Church, located at 240 Nithsdale Road in Glasgow. Designed by W F MacGibbon, the church opened in 1900, while the adjoining hall to the west, which also has a gable facing Nithsdale Road, was completed in 1894. The architectural style is 13th century French Gothic, featuring stone-cleaned yellow ashlar with snecked and bull-faced stonework and polished dressings. The main roof is slated.

The church has a cruciform plan and is unaisled, with low twin-gabled transepts. The prominent gabled front facing Nithsdale Road includes a five-light window set within an arched panel that has a sculptured tympanum. Flanking buttresses rise to form octagonal pinnacles topped with red-tiled roofs. To the left of the main entrance, there is a porch with a moulded doorway that features inset figures of Knox and Calvin. The hall has a traceried gable window and flanking buttresses. A low boundary wall runs along the street.
