Description

Thomson, Sandilands and MacLeod; hall built 1915-16, church not built until 1922-3 because of the war, though its design is probably that of circa 1915. Scots gothic. Bull-faced red ashlar, polished dressings.

Former Church occupies corner site, massive traceried windows in W gable, stepped buttresses with crocketted pinnacles; side aisle to Dixon Road with square tower rising centrally with open belfry stage, crocketted pinnacles, lucarned red-tiled spire; War memorial at ground; W end of aisle is a gabled porch.

Former Hall has flank to Dixon Road, 5 bays, door left, gabled 2nd bay treated as shallow transept. Slated roofs, green slates to church.
