Victoria Tollcross Church And Hall, 1134 Tollcross Road, Glasgow

Victoria Tollcross Church and Hall, located at 1134 Tollcross Road in Glasgow, was designed by J Bryden in 1902 as a free church in the Perpendicular Gothic style. The hall at the rear is the previous church built in 1869. The building features red sandstone construction with rubble and ashlar dressings, topped with slate roofs.

The church has a symmetrical gabled front facing Tollcross Road, with a buttressed nave and a central doorway. Above the doorway is a large traceried window, flanked by semi-polynomial stair turrets that have facetted roofs, positioned in front of the side aisles. The main roof extends continuously over the aisles. An iron-railed boundary with red ashlar piers surrounds the property.

The hall has a gabled front facing Causewayside Street, featuring a wheel window in the gable head and a later porch addition at ground level.
