Hall, St Ninian's Episcopal Church, 514-516 Pollokshaws Road, Glasgow

St Ninian's Episcopal Church Hall, located at 514-516 Pollokshaws Road in Glasgow, was designed by David Thomson and constructed between 1873 and 1877. This Gothic-style church is situated on a corner site and features a nave with aisles and a clerestory. A prominent tall polygonal apse faces Pollokshaws Road, with the main roof having a facetted design. There is a shallow gabled porch at the east end of the north side aisle, and a hall beyond with a gabled front facing Albert Drive. A datestone from 1893 is present on the polygonal link to the hall. The building is constructed of stugged and snecked ashlar with polished dressings and buttresses, and most windows are plate-traceried. The roofs are finished with slates and feature finials.

Inside, the church has leaded windows, some of which were created by Heaton Butler and Bayne, along with seven aisle lights by William Meikle and Sons. The interior also includes a Gothic reredos made of stone by H D Walton, completed in 1899, with marble and alabaster work by William Vickers. A mural in the chancel, painted by William Hole in 1901, adds to the decorative features of the space. The church is set behind plain iron railings.
