Description
St Andrew's Episcopal Church, located on South Crescent Road in Ardrossan, was designed by architect David Thomson from Glasgow in 1875 and is built in the Early English Gothic style. The church features a nave and a lower chancel with shallow transepts, constructed from pink, snecked sandstone. At the west entrance, there is a projecting gabled porch flanked by lancet windows, with a rose window situated above. The nave has three cusped lancets, while the chancel contains paired lancets and a triple light window on the east side. The transepts are adorned with large geometric traceried windows. Inside, the church boasts an elaborate timber crossing.
