St Andrew's East Church, 681 Alexandra Parade, Glasgow

St Andrew's East Church, located at 681 Alexandra Parade in Glasgow, was designed by James Miller and completed in 1903, as indicated by the datestone. This Gothic church features an individual design that reflects an Arts and Crafts interpretation of the perpendicular style. It is situated to the west of a church hall built in 1899. The church is constructed from snecked ashlar with polished dressings and has slate roofs. It occupies a corner site, showcasing a buttressed flank facing Easter Craigs. The front of the church features two battered square towers that are linked at the base by an entrance and above a gallery window by a deep arch, with a broad-eaved belfry positioned centrally. The interior is plainer, featuring a shallow barrel vault and a gallery that extends along three sides.
