Description

Built circa 1790, school of Robert Adam. 2-storey and attics, symmetrical classical townhouse. 5-bay frontage with centre 3 bays shallow advanced and pedimented. Polished ashlar, raised angles and basecourse, architraved openings. Central consoled doorway with incised frieze. All windows single light, glazing removed. Mutuled pediment over centre 3 bays with oculus to tympanum. Raised skews, end stacks, stack to gable apex, slate roofs. Rear elevation with central round arched stair light.
