Description
Lower Bunzion is a house dated 1739, featuring a two-storey and attic L-plan design. The south front is symmetrical with five bays, and there is a low single-storey wing extending to the north. The exterior is pebble-dashed. On the south elevation, the central bay is slightly advanced and gabled, with an attic above. The door has rendered margins with crests above; the outer door is panelled, while the inner door features Gothic panelling and cusping, possibly sourced from Crawford Priory. The house has 12-pane sash windows throughout, along with a 9-pane window in the attic. It has straight skews, gable head stacks, and a slate roof. The northern wing has a pantile roof with a slate easing course. In the garden to the south, there are remains of channelled ashlar gatepiers.
