Description
Priestfield Maltings is a grain maltings complex built in the later 19th century. It features a long, twin-gabled, three-storey block with 11 bays on both the south and north elevations. The north elevation includes doors and an off-centre gabled loft opening. An adjoining block, which is slightly taller, has kiln vents that are triple pyramidal-roofed and square-capped. The west elevation is harled and has three gables. There are entrances located in the north elevation next to a low brick extension, and the roofs are covered with slate.
