Description

Early 19th century, 2-storey and attic house with mid 19th century single-bay addition to west and later canted window on east gable, Gillespie and Scott architects, 1910. Droved ashlar with ashlar dressings and rusticated quoins. South elevation: central panelled door with fanlight and sidelights, entablature supported on 2 pairs of Tuscan

columns, all painted. 1st floor tripartite above, single windows in outer bays and in single bay addition. Mostly 4-pane sashes. Eaves course, cornice and blocking course. 3 modern flat-roofed dormers. Straight skews with scrolled skewputts. End stacks and slate roof. Raised central attic stair window on north wall with piended roof. Asymmetrical single and 2-storey L-plan former maltings to north with

lofts. Limewashed rubble and margins. Some blocked segmental-headed carriageways: inserted oculi at upper levels: 2 swept-roofed loft openings, one with forestair. Pantile roof of varying levels.
