Description

Earlier 19th century single storey 3-bay cottage, raised to 2-storeys later in century: single storey and attic. 2-bay gabled wing to east extends northwards in L-plan. Heavily stugged ashlar, coursed to ground floor, snecked and squared to 1st floor ashlar dressings, rusticated quoins and ground floor architraves. All painted. Central door with

fanlight + pilastered doorpiece: mostly plate glass sashes. Band course over ground floor. Straight skews, corniced end stacks and modern red tile roof. South elevation of painted, rubble-built wing has fenestration all altered. Slated and tiled roof. Modern wing beyond, to north, of no interest.
