Description

Early 19th century with later additions and alterations. 2-storey, 3-bay, rectangular-plan house with single storey, piended addition to side. Harled; droved dressings. Base course; narrow quoin strips; droved margins; flush cills.

SW (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: steps to modern timber panelled door centred at ground; plate glass fanlight; single windows flanking at ground; single windows in all 3 bays at 1st floor. Part-glazed timber door with narrow side-lights in single storey addition to outer right. Boarded timber door in rubble wall adjoined to outer left.

SE (SIDE) ELEVATION: gable end with small attic light off-set to left of centre. 2 small windows in single storey addition projecting at ground.

Predominantly 4-pane glazing in timber sash and case windows. Grey slate roof to main block; pantiled single storey addition. Coped and rendered apex stacks; various circular cans.

INTERIOR: not seen 1999.

BOUNDARY WALLS: rubble walls partially enclosing site.
