Description
The bridge over St Andrew's Burn on Bridge Street in Coldingham likely dates from the 19th century and has undergone some alterations since then. It features a single arch that spans the burn, constructed from ribbon-pointed cream sandstone rubble with tooled sandstone dressings. The bridge has a pointed-arched opening adorned with tooled voussoirs, and the parapets are finished with squared coping. To the northwest, the wall has been extended and splayed, with a coping stone inscribed 'From St Andrew's Well 1870'. Additionally, a rubble-coped wall extends to the northeast beyond an engaged, circular-plan pier.
