Description
Westbank is a Gothick building, likely from the early 19th century. It is a two-storey structure made of red droved ashlar and has an asymmetrical L-plan with a crenellated gable on the north front. The large gothic window features a dummy head, while the set-back section includes a moulded round arched doorway with an ogee hood mould. There is a two-light window on the ground floor with a Tudor hood mould and a small square traceried window above it. The building has an open work parapet with pierced lexagons. On the east gable, there is a traceried window on the first floor. Notably, an illicit whisky still has been incorporated into the basement. Additionally, there is a two-storey addition that is shingle hung, located on the site of former stables.
