Description

The building known as the Manse, located on Kirk Wynd in Strathmiglo, was designed by architect and builder George Kilgour between 1782 and 1783. Originally, it was a two-storey structure with three windows. In 1838, a broad northern addition was made at right angles to the original building. The exterior is finished in stucco with margins, and features a plain pilastered doorpiece with scroll skews. The windows have been reglazed, and there have been some late alterations to the building.
