Description

The Exeter Dispensary, located at 26 Queen Street, was built in 1841 and designed by architect S A Greig. This two-storey building features a stucco front with five windows and a semi-basement. The exterior is characterized by rustications at the quoins and between the ground floor windows. The doorway is framed by coupled Doric pilasters and has a balustraded parapet above it. A dentil cornice runs along the top of the building. The frieze and the area above the doorway display contemporary raised lettering. The windows are sash style with glazing bars. The roof is not visible.
