Description

This is a mid-19th century, classically styled building in ashlar stone. It is two storeys high with nine windows arranged in a 1-3-1-3-1 pattern, featuring sash windows. The first floor windows have pedimented heads. The ground floor is rusticated and features arched doorways. A cornice runs along the first floor, and another at the parapet, which is balustraded. The roof is not visible. The building’s four-bay frontage resembles that of Northernhay Gate. Nos 74 to 91 Queen Street, together with the Queen’s Hotel, form a group.
