Description

No 1 Upper Paul Street is an early 18th century red brick house that stands two stories high with dormers. It features a coved eaves cornice and has sash windows set in wide frames, although some of the glazing bars have been altered. The front facing Upper Paul Street has five windows and a doorway topped with a pedimented hood supported by brackets. The entrance consists of a four-panel door. At the left end of the building, there are blind windows and a small gable at the eaves level. The angle where the building meets Gandy Street is rounded at the ground floor and corbelled out above. This property also includes No 18 Garden Street.
