Description
Old Mill House is a late 18th-century building located on Lower Road in Quidhampton. It is two storeys high and constructed of red brick with gault brick dressings, featuring a plinth, string course, and corner piers. The roof is hipped and covered with old tiles.
On the north front, there is a 2-light casement window on the first floor and a 3-light sash window on the ground floor, which has an arched central light with Gothick glazing, all framed by a moulded brick architrave. To the west, there is a single-storey extension with a hipped roof.
The east front has three 2-light casement windows on the first floor, a central round-headed doorway with a moulded architrave, and a half-glazed door with a fanlight that features a Gothick pattern. There are also two flanking porthole windows. Inside, the building includes a staircase with a galleried first floor and occasional diagonally braced balusters.
