Description

The Boat House, built in the 1870s, features a base of brick on stone with a stone pavement. It has a partly open rectangular design with a projecting gabled porch. The structure includes a five-bay hall supported by twisted barley sugar columns and crown posts at the plate, tie, and eaves, with all purlins and struts being stop-chamfered. The gable ends are adorned with scalloped fringes. The roof is tiled with a crested ridge that ends in terracotta grotesques, and the end bay is closed off with a wooden partition.
