Description

17 Tolbooth Street in Kirkcaldy is an 18th-century small two-storey tenement with a rectangular plan. The building is harled with stone margins.

On the west elevation, the entrance door is located in the bay to the right of centre, flanked by two windows on the right and two more on the left, creating a regular pattern of windows on the first floor. The windows are timber sash and case with a 12-pane glazing pattern. The roof is covered with concrete tiles.
