182 High Street, Kirkcaldy

182 High Street in Kirkcaldy is a mid to later 19th century tenement building that has been altered at the ground level. It stands three stories high and features three bays, with a shop occupying the ground floor, situated within an irregular terrace. The exterior is finished in painted ashlar and includes stone cills and an eaves course.

On the north elevation facing High Street, there is a modern shop entrance in the center, flanked by tile piers and a deep fascia board that reaches the first-floor cill course. Above this, there are three windows on each floor. The second floor has a 12-pane glazing pattern, while the first floor features 6-pane over plate glass lower sashes, all made of timber in sash and case style. The ground floor includes fixed display windows. The roof is covered with grey slate, and there is a cast-iron downpipe and rainwater hopper.
