Description

The Obelisk at Aberdour House was built between 1744 and 1745. It stands 40 feet high and is made of ashlar stone. The obelisk is prominently situated at the top of Cuttlehill. It features a square stone base and a square-plan pedestal, with a moulded base and cornice at the upper section, which is topped by the obelisk itself.
