Description
The Doocot at Pyeston is an 18th-century double chamber, rectangular plan lectern dovecot. It is constructed of random rubble, with evidence of harling on the sides, and features droved and plain quoins. There is a stepped rat course or alighting ledge. The dovecot has two small doorways on the south side and is lined with stone nesting boxes.
