Description

The Dovecot at Carriston is an 18th-century structure featuring a double chamber and a rectangular plan, with a shallow concave northern elevation. It is designed as a crowstepped lectern dovecot, constructed from random rubble and accented with sandstone quoins. The building includes a stepped rat course or alighting ledge, a beak skewputt, and a half moon finial at the northwest corner. The entrance door is located at the center of the southern side.
