47 And 49 Craigkennochie Terrace, Burntisland

47 and 49 Craigkennochie Terrace is a villa-tenement built in the later to late 19th century. It is a two-storey building with a basement and features three bays. The exterior is finished in polished ashlar, with squared and snecked rubble, raised long and short quoins, band courses, and an eaves course. The entrance has an architraved doorcase and stone mullions.

The south elevation, which is the entrance side, is symmetrical. A set of seven steps with decorative cast-iron bannisters leads to a deep-set panelled door with a plate glass fanlight at the center. To the right, there is a canted window in a slightly advanced bay, and a secondary entrance with a stone lintel is located to the outer right. A window is found in the bay to the left, along with another panelled door with a plate glass fanlight in a flat-roofed secondary entrance to the outer left. In the basement, there is a part-blinded canted window to the right of center and a window to the left. On the first floor, there is a window at the center, a canted window with an eaves cornice and blocking course below a finialled gable in the bay to the right, and another window to the left.

The windows have a 4-pane glazing pattern in timber sash and case. The roof is covered with grey slates, and there are coped ashlar stacks with moulded cans, as well as ashlar coped skews, skewputts, and finials.

The boundary walls and railings consist of low saddleback coped rubble walls to the south, complemented by decorative cast-iron railings.
