Description
This mid-19th century single-storey cottage has four bays arranged in a 1-2-1 grouping, originally consisting of two separate two-bay cottages. The northern elevation, facing High Street, features a door to the right of the center, with a former doorway to the left that has been blocked and converted into a window. The outer bays contain windows with a plate glass glazing pattern in sash and case style. The cottage is constructed with squared and snecked stonework to the north and snecked rubble to the west. The roof is covered with red pantiles and has a coped gablehead stack. The cottage is adjoined to the east by number 258.
