3 Hannay Street, Gatehouse Of Fleet

3 Hannay Street is an early 19th century single-storey cottage that was formed from a terrace of three 2-bay cottages, now united as one. The exterior features painted render on rubble with large quoins.

On the east elevation facing the street, there are four bays on the left, originally with two doors at the center; the left door is now blocked and converted into a window, with windows in the outer bays. To the right, there are two widely grouped bays that include a window and a door in the outer bay. The west elevation at the rear has a bipartite window and large letterbox windows.

The gabled end elevation is blank. The windows are timber sash and case with an 8-pane glazing pattern. The roof is covered with graded grey slates, featuring two skylights, while the rear has concrete pantiles. There is a mutual gable stack to the right and a harled end stack.
