Description
36 Easdale Island is a mid-19th century single-storey cottage that has been re-ordered into a four-bay rectangular plan. The exterior is finished with harled whinstone and slate rubble, featuring regular fenestration.
On the south elevation, there is a boarded timber door located in the outer left bay. The north elevation has another boarded timber door, which is the second bay from the left. The east side elevation includes a window positioned at the center, while the west side elevation is partially obscured by a low stone outbuilding.
The windows are made of plate glass and are timber sash and case style. The roof is covered with grey slates and has lead flashing, along with two coped stacks at the ridge and raised skews. The interior was not seen in 2001.
