Description

Earlier 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay rectangular-plan building at end of irregular terrace, later converted at ground right to shop, now returned to residential, much altered to rear with single storey extension abutting further building to N. Painted, coursed stone blocks and margins, base course, stone mullions and stop-chamfered arrises.

N (HIGH STREET) ELEVATION: deep-set door with letterbox fanlight at centre, bipartite and stop-chamfered window to left, single window and 4-centre arched bipartite window to right, 3 regular windows at 1st floor close to eaves.

4-pane glazing pattern in sash and case windows, paired outer right ground floor window with fixed plate glass glazing. Purple slates. Coped ashlar gablehead stacks with some cans, coped ashlar skews, scrolled skewputts, thackstanes and decorative rainwater hopper.
