Description

Mid 19th century. 2-storey with attic, 3-bay rectangular-plan tenement with bold end stacks. Squared and snecked whinstone with contrasting ashlar long and short work quoins and margins, coursed rubble to sides and rear. Bull blocks to NE and NW corners.

E (MAIN) ELEVATION: 3 boarded doors at centre each with plate-glass letterbox fanlight, windows in flanking bays, regular windows at 1st floor.

S ELEVATION: abutted at E by boundary wall, at W by flat-roofed garage with 2 windows at 1st floor and further window at attic level in gablehead.

N ELEVATION: exposed stonework of former connecting building with later windows at 1st floor left and in gable chimneyhead.

W ELEVATION: centre door with stair window over, windows in flanking bays and at 1st floor.

12-pane glazing pattern in sash and case windows to principal elevations, all other windows modern. Grey slates. Coped ashlar skews with square skewputts, and broad, coped ashlar gablehead stacks with some cans.
