Description

Later 19th century with later alterations and additions. 2-storey, 3-bay terraced tenement with shop at ground. Squared and snecked whinstone (painted at ground) with droved and polished ashlar sandstone dressings. Base course; band course between ground and 1st floor, raised to cornice above fascia; eaves course.

SE ELEVATION: windows regularly-disposed at 1st floor. 2 2-leaf panelled doors at centre with plate glass letterbox fanlight above each. Window to each flanking bay. Fascia spanning doors and flanking windows. Panelled tenement door to outer right with plate glass letterbox fanlight above.

NW ELEVATION: not seen, 1995.

Plate glass timber sash and case windows at 1st floor; plate glass fixed-pane windows at ground. Slate roof with modern slate-hung box dormer, spanning almost whole length. Ashlar coped mutual stack to NE and SW.
