Description

Mid 19th century with later additions and alterations. 2-storey with attic, 3-bay tenement with shop accommodation at ground. Channelled ashlar with rendered repairs; harled to SE. Base course; band course/fascia between ground and 1st floor.

NW (MARKET PLACE) ELEVATION: panelled 2-leaf door in roll-moulded doorway to centre of shopfront, flanked by 2-fixed-pane shop windows; panelled door to tenement with rectangular plate glass fanlight in bay to outer left. Window to each bay at 1st floor above. Gabled dormer windows to outer bays at attic, breaking eaves, ashlar coped dormerheads.

SE ELEVATION: 2-storey platformed addition at ground of bay to left and to centre. Window at 1st floor and window at attic, breaking eaves with half-piended dormerhead above, in bay to right.

4-pane timber sash and case windows. Slate roof with platform at apex. Piended skylight to platform to SW. Brick coped mutual stacks.
