Description
Horsemill at Annsmuir House is a well-preserved octagonal structure that likely dates back to the 18th century. The walls are made of masonry with some droved blocks and are circular on the inside, featuring timber lintels above the openings. The roof is pyramidal and covered with pantiles, showing some sagging in its outline, and is topped with half-round ridge tiles. Much of the original roof timber work remains intact, although a recent cage has been added above the tie-beams. The center of the roof structure is supported by a steel girder.
